Im getting old

Ok so i was going to post something on thursday when i was home in bemidji, but i couldnt remember my password.

Well anyways i had a great thanksgiving at home. I left crookston as soon as i was done with my class wednesday and had a pretty interesting drive home, my truck trucked turned 100,000 miles, not bad for a 1993 dodge dakota. That happened as soon as i drove through bagley. And wouldnt you know it, but something got messed up with my speedometer (sorry about the spelling) and my mileage meter thingy got stuck. but as soon as i got home and told my dad what happened it started working again, but that usually happens. And i was only home for like 15 minutes before i left again to hang out with some of my friends that i havnt seen since august. We had a blast, but we went and saw a christmas movie and i dont care for them one bit, so i am not going to tell you anything about it. we saw fred Claus (again sorry on the spelling). Thursday i went over to my grandpa and grandma melhorns house. We spent the time watching a couple of episodes of country fried home videos (and i know what you are thinking mom, i didnt pick the channel) and had the typical melhorn dinner conversations (haha i miss those). And then had some of my grandmas cooking and it was so good everyone was uncomfortable later. My cousin Melissa cut my hair that night too, while everyone else was watching wild hogs. wow huh? Im not going to tell you what i did friday and it wasnt bad. Saturday Annie came home and i hung out with her in the morning and had lunch with her and my mom. And that evening i had to leave for crookston, because i had to work sunday.

Yeah so theres my exciting life, and i am counting down the days until my 17 day christmas break. its not very long at all, is it?

ok, so nothing new has really happened in my life to post about. I have been trying (key word there is trying) to catch up on my sleep, and i haven't really gained much ground on that area. I have be counting down the days til thanksgiving when i can finally go home. Just 11 more days. i have a small calender that i made in my room and i have been marking off the days. Work drained me so bad this week. Friday i was back and forth between work and my dorm, all day long. and this weekend, we didnt have all that many people staying at the hotel, but they people who did, were really messy and it took forever to clean their rooms. we had a wedding there this weekend, and they had a really stange wedding. they said their vows by the pool. why? And today, nobody wanted to get up and they were getting mad at us for banging on their doors. And i dont recommend bringing your pet to our hotel. its SO much work for the housekeeper's. we have to move all the beds, tables, chairs, etc around, and that stuff isnt light. all of our backs were killing us by the end of the day. and then monday the housekeepers have to shampoo the carpit for our guest with allergies. and we had 3 rooms today where we had dogs in them. it was a long day and i would have been done early but a coworker had to leave early and i said that i could stay and help and my manager said that that would look good on my review for my raise.

So i have another exciting week head of me, NOT!!! let you know how my week went, ok?

DIAMOND RIO!!!

Yesterday, me and 3 other missys went and saw Diamond Rio at the shooting star casino. They are SSOOO good, and they put on a great show. And not to mention, they are so fun and have tons of great stories and music.

After the concert, we were kind of hungry, and there wasnt really any place to eat in Mahnomen. So we went to Erskine (sorry on the spelling) and had some REALLY good pizza at this place called Joe DiMagious (sorry spelling again, is a resterant that has a sports/baseball) theme to it). My roommate works there, so thats how i know about it.

I finally got my cowgirl boots. after how long have i been wanting to get them? oh it feels like forever. and it also took a while for them to get here, i order them about 3-4 weeks ago.

well, other then that, nothering else has really happened to me.
