a new job to celebrate the end of a great year!

what a great year it has been. And to end it, i finally get a new job. I am now working for REM which is part of the Mentor network. I would be working weekends for just a few hours and i would be working with people who need some assistance doing daily activities. The house where i would be working at, is only women and they are very self-sufficent and don't need a whole lot of health but they still do need it depending on what they are doing. But other houses through out bemidji have other people who needed pretty much everything done for them. Right now i am just going throu the training and i havent started working in the house, but i just started last week. We are lectured on confidentality and a few other things. They are paying for me to take CPR (which is nice because i was planning on taking it throu bsu, so i dropped it cause they are paying for it), and i have to take a few more "classes" for them before i can do a lot of things at the house. I am really excited to start working there.

I am all registered for spring at bsu, i hopefully am taking better classes and ones that wont stress me out as much as they did this past semester.

Mondays: Math 4 elementary school teachers 1 (2-2:50), Lifespan development (3-4:50), ASL 2 (6-8:40)
Tuesdays: Health & Drugs in society (10-11:50), People/envionment education pers(4-5:15)
Wednesday: Math 4 elementary school teachers 1 (2-2:50). Lifespan development (3-4:50)
Thursdays: People/envionment education pers (4-5:15)
Fridays: Math 4 elementary school teachers 1 (2-2:50)

new post about nothing

yeah so nothing has been now with me, but i decided to post something just for the heck of it. I am still looking for a job and no place is really hiring anybody part time right now. and no not even seasonal (like for the holidays) jobs are out here in bemidji. soo i am really strongly disliking bemidji at the moment. and nobody seems to understand that no body is hiring, but ohhh well.

so a few weeks ago, me and my boyfriend went into the ditch with my truck. and yes we are all ok, some nice guy came and pulled us out. and thankfully it was my back end that went in, because if we would have went insideways my truck would have rolled or if we would have went in with the front end into the ditch my truck would no longer be working because we went into 2-3 feet of water.

soo yeah thats all that has been new wtih me, schools fine but im stressed. i am soo looking forward to the end of the school year which is almost here. so i guess i should get going i have nothing else to say for the moment

my new computer

It seems like all i do is sleep, work, go to school, homework and thats its. I have no life. But the good news is that next weekend is my last weekend working at ruttgers!!! yay!!!

I have been looking forward to buying my own computer that i didnt have to give back at the end of the school year. And i sent Annie money, since she was coming home for Ryan and Rachels wedding, to pick up my new computer for me at best buy. She was going to go friday before her classes started and thankfully she didnt. Alex thankfully went earlier in the week and picked it up for me!! and the one he got me was the second to last one and the guy behind him had got the last one. I like it so far, but it has some getting used too

Im gunna start job hunting tomorrow and hopefully i can get a good job that pays well and that will have hours that will work out for me. And my boss at ruttgers says that i can use her for a reference if i wanted too.

Sonney bought me flowers the other day for no reason. arnt they purty!!!!!

quick but boring post

school is going ok, not too exciting yet. my classes are either good or not so interesting. Here is my schedule:

Mondays: Intro to Psychology (11-11:50); Women and Philosophy (3-3:50)
Tuesdays: Astronomy (2-3:20); Public Speaking (4-4:50)
Wednesdays: Intro to Psychology (11-11:50); Women and Philosophy (3-3:50); American Sign Language 1 (6-9 pm)

Its kinda weird to say but i actually like my public speaking class its fun and its taught by an un-traditional teacher!!!! my american sign laungauge class is interesting and its fun but hard work remembering how to sign somethings. its nice because its only 1 night a week but it sucks cause its 6-9 pm!!!!!!! yuck

end of summers means school

So i had a good last week of my summer. I have a few good memories and now its time to go back to school :( . I went last thursday to go see free style moto-x at the bemidji speedway. And the guy who was the one doing the tricks was named "Cowboy" Kenny Bartram. who was really awesome, even thou it was windy he did manage to do some more daring tricks including a backflip wow.
the trick that cowboy kenny is doing here is called a whip.

Back to school. Well, here goes nothing." Haha i love that quote from Billy madison. Today was the first day of school for me. I already had one class today and i have to go back in a few hours for another. I was a bit nervous when i was walking there because it is way bigger then crookston was. and i barely had a clue were i was going but i managed to figure it out.

a goooooddd weekend

Sorry that it has been awhile but i have been busy working and not a lot interesting things have been going on. But i had this whole past weekend off, which i cant believe i scored that

One of my best friends got married saturday and it was a beautiful wedding. it was outside at deeper life bible camp in blackduck. The reception was as great, but my boyfriend and i had to serve punch and coffee at it and it got rather heckic at some points and we wound up running out of stuff at the end but it was still really good. And her cake was in the shape of a bell and it was hanging. The pic below is my friend Heather (who was the one who got married), me, and my friend LaRae.

On sunday i went tubing with my parents, their friends gary, brenda, mary, kevin, jake, lori, and my boyfriend sonney. it was a lot of fun and we say 2 turtles.

so sorry but i have been busy and havent had much time to post anything lately. Im still working 5 days a week at ruttgers.

I spent my 4th of july weekend in some interesting but still fun ways. the 4th of july i spent with my parents and their friends gary and brenda. And we went out on the lake and just cruised. Then we went to the green mill and met up with my parents friends mary and kevin. and then we order some yummy pizza and watched the fire works which were very loud because we were right next to were they were setting them off from. We would have been out on the lake but we order the pizza and the lake was very packed. And the boat could only seat 5 and we also had chuck because it was his birthday.

After work on the fifth, i went to Cass Lake with my boyfriend and his family. It was a fun time. The lake was like very shallow, we went out in a paddle boat and we went out a far ways and it was still shallow. This pic was takin there wasnt it purty
So my best friend is getting married in a month and a day. I cant believe it. I might cry.

Ok so sorry i got confused because it is the summer and my brain isnt functioning. And 2 days from now is mine and sonney's anniversary.
